Pagan Fate Support

1. Getting Started & Account Sign-In

Pagan Fate is designed for iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later. Getting started requires a few simple steps:

• Email Sign-In: Register using your email address and a secure password. Check your inbox for the account confirmation link before signing in.
• Apple & Google Sign-In: Quick authentication via Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google is available on supported releases.
• Adults Only (18+): All members must be at least 18 years old. Date of birth is required during registration to confirm eligibility.

2. Two-Stage Identity Verification

To protect members against fake profiles, bots, and impersonation, Pagan Fate implements a two-stage verification system:

• Level 1 — Live Pose Verification: During onboarding, every member completes a quick live face pose challenge using their device camera to verify an authentic living person.
• Level 2 — Staff Document Review: Members can submit government-issued photo identification (such as a passport, national ID card, or driving licence) for human review by our compliance staff to achieve verified member status. Document numbers are hashed and never stored in plaintext.
• Scope of Verification: Verification certifies account authenticity and adult age. It does not evaluate or certify personal religious beliefs, nor does it guarantee member character or compatibility.

3. Profile Management & Photo Guidelines

• Profile Customization: Update your bio, spiritual path statement ("About my path"), primary and secondary traditions, languages, and intention in Settings > Edit Profile. Editing is paused while verification review is active.
• Photo Standards: You may upload up to 6 profile photos. Photos must clearly show you and adhere to our Community Guidelines. Sexually explicit, violent, or copyrighted photos without permission are strictly prohibited.
• Date of Birth: To ensure age assurance integrity, date of birth cannot be modified in-app after onboarding. Contact support if an error was made during initial entry.

4. Discovery, Intentions & Location Settings

Pagan Fate provides clear, intentional modes of connection:

• Wave vs. Heart: Send a Wave to express social kinship and friendship interest. Send a Heart to express romantic interest. Mutual intentions ensure that both individuals share the same understanding.
• Discovery Modes: Discover profiles filtered by spiritual tradition and language, use Near Me with adjustable radius bands (5 to 500 km), connect across your Country, or explore Worldwide.
• Location Privacy: Your exact GPS coordinates are never displayed to other members. Locations are coarsened and displayed strictly as generalized distance bands.
• World Map Visibility: The opt-in World Map displays community presence in coarse 0.1-degree grid cells. You can turn your map presence on or off at any time in privacy settings.

5. Connections & Private Messaging

• The Threads Have Met: When two members mutually connect through aligned intentions, a connection is created.
• Private Chat: Text conversations unlock only between connected members. Direct messaging is not accessible prior to a mutual connection.
• Translation: Optional on-device Apple translation is supported on iOS 18+ for multilingual conversations.

6. Member Safety, Blocking & Reporting

• Blocking: You can block any member from their profile or within a conversation. Blocking is immediate, silent, and reciprocal. The blocked user is never notified, and neither party will see the other in discovery or messaging.
• Reporting: If someone violates our Community Guidelines, report them via the expanded profile menu or by long-pressing a message in chat. Reports cover 11 violation categories (harassment, hate speech, fake profile, scam, explicit content, etc.) and are routed to our compliance review team.
• Managing Blocks: You can view and unblock members in Settings > Privacy > Blocked Users. Note that unblocking does not automatically restore a previous connection.

7. Optional Premium Subscriptions

When available, optional Premium features are managed directly through Apple's App Store:

• Managing Subscriptions: Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled at any time through your Apple ID: open iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions and select Pagan Fate.
• Restoring Purchases: If you switch devices or reinstall the app, tap Restore Purchases on the Premium screen to sync your active Apple subscription.
• Refund Inquiries: Because transactions are processed directly by Apple, refund requests are handled under Apple's standard App Store purchase policies at reportaproblem.apple.com ↗.

8. Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your Pagan Fate account at any time directly within the application:

1. Open Pagan Fate and go to Settings.
2. Select Account & Security > Delete Account.
3. Review the deletion notice and re-authenticate to confirm.

Upon confirmation, your profile is immediately removed from discovery, photos are deleted, and your identity credentials are permanently scrubbed. Limited compliance records (safety moderation reports and financial transaction logs) are retained in read-only compliance archives as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
